Objectives of the KNLA To
have and maintain an organization of firms whose principal business,
or a substantial part thereof, is in horticulture, landscaping or
related endeavor for the discussion and exchange of information
of mutual problems and cooperation in such group action as will
be for the best interests of the membership and to encourage the
production, development, improvement and use of local nursery, landscape
service and related products and services.
To maintain professionalism with the highest standards of ethics pertaining to horticulture, nursery, landscaping and allied services and activities. To improve methods and techniques by exchanging ideas, continued education and close cooperation and thus help each other in maintaining a high standard of efficiency in the horticulture, landscaping and related businesses. To publicize and promote the high quality of the products and services of the membership as a whole; to participate in and encourage civic, neighborhood and other activities using local nursery products and promote community beautification through the use of horticulture and landscaping materials and services. To seek and develop new uses and outlets for local nursery products, landscaping materials and services. To promote and support local legislative action beneficial to the realization of these objectives. Dear Colleague, The KNLA began in 1926 and we're proud to have grown today to over 300 members firms. Our primary goal as a network of professional nursery grower landscapers, garden centers and others interested horticulture, is to provide educational opportunities (to members as well as support in terms of public knowledge of what we do. From our inception have been dedicated to promoting the profession standards of our industry, and continue as recognizable symbol of quality to our colleagues and the consumers we serve. After checking out the many benefits of membership that are listed herein, you will have to agree that, the dues are inexpensive. The best part is that your, involvement doesn't have to end there. There are many more opportunities for interaction with colleagues, both educational and social, than we have space here to elaborate upon.
